Matcha Oatmeal Cookies


Matcha Oatmeal Cookies (Recipe adapted & modified from Blessed Homemaker)

Ingredients

110g butter
90g brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
90g all purpose flour
1 tsp matcha powder
150g Instant oats
60g chocolate chips

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Cream together the softened butter & brown sugar until smooth & creamy.
  3. Add the egg & beat well. Add in vanilla essence.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour & matcha powder.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture & beat until incorporated.
  6. Stir in the instant oats & chocolate chips using a spatula.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, drop cookie dough onto the prepared baking tray.
  8. Flatten the cookies slightly & bake the cookies for about 15mins.

You can use any type of oats actually. The original recipe uses rolled oats but I only have instant oats. Kekeke :)
