Bak Pau 肉包




Bak Pau 肉包  
(Recipe adapted & modify from 萍聚

Ingredients:
400g  plain flour
1 tsp yeast
80g sugar
1/2 tsp double baking powder
200g water
1 Tbsp oil 

Fillings: Minced meat, prawns, spring onions
Seasonings: Soy sauce, black pepper, sesame oil, a bit of ginger juice

Method:
1. Mix all ingredients together & knead into a dough. Proof for 1.5hrs.
2. Divide the dough into portions 50g each & wrap fillings. Proof for another 45mins.
3. Steam the buns for 15mins.

Nutella Popsicles


Nutella Popsicles  
(Recipe adapted & modify from Anncoo Journal

Ingredients:
200ml soymilk  (using Joyoung maker)
2 heap Tbsp Nutella

Method:
1. Blend the milk & nutella together with a hand whisk till combined.
2. Stir the mixture as you pour into popsicle mould.
3. Freeze them for few hours or overnight.

Bailey Blondies

 
Bailey Blondies  
(Recipe adapted & modify from Kirbie's Cravings

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
175g sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup Baileys
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups of plain flour
chocolate chips

Method:    
1. Melt butter in microwave. Add in sugar & whisk until smooth. Add in eggs, vanilla & Baileys.  

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder. Pour flour mixture into wet mixture & mix until combined. Add in chocolate chips.

3. Pour batter into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.

4. Bake in a preheated oven @ 180C for 20mins.

Kinako Cookies


Kinako Cookies
(Recipe adapted & modify from Yue's Handicrafts) 

Ingredients: 
160g Liv unsalted butter, soften
80g icing sugar
30g cream
80g ground almond
180g plain flour
40g kinako 

Method: 
1. In a mixing bowl, beat butter & sugar until fluffy & smooth. Fold in cream.

2. Mix & sift in all the flours, fold into a smooth dough.

3. Roll the dough into a long roll. Wrap with a piece of cling film & freeze until harden.

4. Remove dough from the freezer & remove the cling film. Cover the roll with granulated sugar by rolling the dough on a plate with sugar. 

5. Cut into slices & bake in a preheated oven @ 170C for 16mins.

Almond Lemon Cuppies 

Ingredients:
150g Liv salted butter
120g sugar
2 eggs
140g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 lemon zest
60ml lemon juice

Method:
1. Whisk butter & sugar till fluffy. Add in eggs slowly & continue to whisk until combined.
2. Add in sifted flour, baking powder, lemon zest & juice.     
3. Bake in a preheated oven @ 170degrees for 20mins.
