Another Birthday...

My hubby's friend, J is celebrating his birthday next wk. His wife, R specially sms me last week & order a cake from me. She requested for a durian mousse cake initially as their family are durian lovers. However, I am not sure if I am able to get any good durians. Thus I asked her for an alternative cake instead. I suggested to try my chocolate buttercream cake sandwiched with nuts.


If you noticed my recent posts, there were few cakes topped with chocolate cartoon characters. Yes, I fell in love with it & had lotsa fun pipping them. I made a big pink teddy bear for J's cake ! Isn't it cute?

Specially for U.....

My hubby's birthday is just round the corner & I decided to surprise him with a cartoon birthday cake this year. I can't decide on what to put on top of the cake & thus made two chocolate cartoon characters so that I can choose later. I simply love the little gal character as it resembles 'Boo' in the movie, 'Monster Inc'. I realized I looked like her too especially after I cut my bangs recently ;P

I put baby mickey on top of the cake instead in the end so that when my hubby looked at the cake, it will remind him of the time when he was a baby learning how to crawl? Hahahaha *^_^*

This is a chocolate cake sandwiched with nuts & buttercream. I'm glad that my hubby love the cake. This is what I'm left with in the fridge now *^_^*
