Dulce De Leche Chiffon Cake
Yo.... I am so excited! Take a look at my first bake using DDL! Gert (from My Kitchen Snippets) made a beautiful DDL Chiffon Cake :) I had modified her recipe slightly as I ran out of Plain flour & also I do not want to have too much eggs in my Chiffon.
Dulce De Leche Chiffon Cake (Recipe adapted & modified from My Kitchen Snippets)
Ingredients A:
3 egg yolks
100g Dulce De Leche
100g Bread flour
1 tsp baking powder
50ml vegetable oil
25ml water
1 tsp Ovalette
Ingredients B:
5 egg whites
50 sugar
Method:
1. Mix all ingredients A together.
2. Whisk all ingredients B on high speed until stiff peak.
3. Fold in the egg white into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.
4. Pour the batter into an ungreased tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 35mins.
Verdict: This Chiffon has a very nice fragrant of DDL & most importantly, it is not too sweet.
*Coming up next are more DDL bakes... hehehe *^_*^*
