Tks NEL for your kind words. I saw your chocolate macarons in your blog, I think they look great too & I saw feet as well. No? Kekeke, btw, I am not an expert in macarons yet. Do let me try a few more times to perfect them b4 I invite you over k *^_^*
haha, those choc macs were made by my blogmate, KL. We share the blog. Her success rate also not consistent. When she thinks she got it right and repeats the same thing, feet don't appear.... Sigh. Macs are indeed a tricky one... Hope I get to bake with you soon :) Meanwhile, maybe we can MSN?
Hanushi, Try it & you will get hook to baking them after you succeed! ;) I tried many times & failed countless times b4. I almost wanted to give up as I do not want to waste the ingredients. But I always get inspired whenever I see bloggers made beautiful macarons :)
Hi Zoe, tks for your kind words. Your blog is fantastic! All the pictures were so well taken! *^_^*
Hi Blessed Homemaker, tks for visiting my blog. Dun be disheartened, I failed many times too. I guess I'm just lucky this time to get nice looking macarons :)
Cathy, I just made my 3rd batch of macs today and again, no feet with bad cracks. Argh! Not sure if I still want to make this again as I don't have sweet tooth but just a challenge to myself. Maybe after CNY baking..
The macarons I made not were very sweet leh, only very chewy after I chill in fridge. Take a look at the link I put in my blog, I think the cracks is due to the oven tempt. I am also going to bake macarons soon :)
