Melt in mouth German Cookies 德式酥饼


Melt in mouth German Cookies 德式酥饼 (Recipe adapted from Small Small Baker)

Ingredients
125 butter
125 potato starch
80g plain flour
40g icing sugar

Method

1. Beat butter & icing sugar till fluffy & lighter in colour.

2. Sift in potato starch & plain flour, mix to form a soft dough.

3. Roll into small balls & arrange on lined baking tray.

4. Bake in preheated oven at 170 deg C for 15 mins.

    Haha, these little German cookies are 'infectious', urging bloggers to try them out. Eh, I din really count how many I baked, but I weighed 10g per cookie, roughly 30+ i guess :)

  9. Hehe, I think I also made around 36 pieces. Haha... I m one of those tt can't resist the temptation after seeing it being so hot fav this yr... I try to use a measuring spoon to scoop the batter initially, then I think I give up cos it became v messy. I she hv used a weighing scale like u did...

    Hehehe, this is 2011 no. 1 hit among bloggers besides almond cookies! Using weighing scale is time consuming leh.. Imagine the no. of times rolling, weighing, removing or adding excess dough. *faints* ;P

    I personally feel that it has a lighter taste compared to usual butter cookies. It melts in your mouth =)
