I love pumpkins!

I made some pumpkin bread this afternoon. I guessed I had added too much pumpkin puree which resulted in a very soft dough (all thanks to my 'Kiasu' Sporean nature ;P).

I cooked some pumpkin with sugar to serve as my pumpkin buns fillings. As for my pumpkin bread, I kneaded in a tsp of cocoa powder to one of the doughs & left the other dough plain. I shaped them into long ropes & left it in my loaf tin for proofing. I sprinkled some crumble fillings on top before I sent it to the oven to bake.

The texture of the bread excellent.. so soft & light! The fun part is that each slice of bread has got its own unique pattern. Take a look at the swirl & marbling effect...
