Pineapple tarts

I know CNY is over. But I juz had this craving for pineapple tarts. I find it a hassle to cook the pineapple jam, so I bought ready made pineapple filings instead! I made my own tart crust, add the fillings & bake them in my small microwave oven. Delicious! *^_^*

Chocolate pudding

I wanted to finish my left over cream in fridge, so I made a few chocolate puddings. I made mango puddings before & I really love the soft texture of the dessert. Though I still had some mangoes in my fridge, I decided to try a different kind of pudding now. I also had a pack of chocolates at home, so I might as well put them to use. Verdict: Its sweet & soft. Melts in yr mouth.... *^_^*

Vegan chocolate cake

Sick of having too much of eggs & butter in your bakes? Well, this cake will certainly win your heart because it DOES NOT contains any eggs & butter! Initially I tot that the cake will not taste good due to lack of those 2 important ingredients. Also, without butter, it means that I will have a hard time removing the cake from my tin after baking (I normally do not grease my tin b4 baking)! Hmm.... I was totally wrong! The cake came out nicely without much effort (thanks to the few tbsp of oil) & the taste of the cake was good! I decorated the top with some sugar so that the dark chocolate cake will not be so plain & boring... *^_^*

Apple crumble pie

t

I had an early dinner today & was hungry by 8pm. My hands were 'itchy' too, so I decided to bake a pie for my supper + tea break tomorrow! Haha, juz happened that I had some apples in fridge, so I baked an apple crumble pie. I really loved this pie. The apple fillings were sweet with a light cinnamon taste & the crumble were crunchy. Hmm... I muz remember to add in more apples in future when I baked this pie. Simply delicious! I believe my mum will definitely love this! *^_^*

Mango yoghurt cake

I love food that consists of mango (mango pudding, mango ice cream, etc) As usual, I used my 'expensive' small bake ware again for this cake. I blend the mango & yoghurt together to form the puree. But I found it funi when my hubby ate the cake & told me that it tasted like durian. Haha, it became a durian cake? *^_^*

Mango Yoghurt Ice Cream

I am an ice cream lover. I can finish the whole tub of ice cream within 2-3 days. I can hardly find any mango ice cream nowadays in supermarkets, so I decided to make some mango yoghurt ice cream today to satisfy my craving. It's wonderful to eat cold sweet ice cream in such a hot weather. The ice cream is really tasty! *^_^*

Chocolate chip muffins

I still had some left over self-raising flour at home, so I decided to bake some chocolate chip muffins today. I sprinkled chocolate chips generously on top of the batter. These muffins were meant for my tea break, but I just couldn't resist the temptation & ate one of them as soon as they came out of my microwave oven. It was really soft inside the muffin & I ate a mouthful of chocolate chips too! Simply delicious.... *^_^*

Lemon Meringue tart

I decided to bake a Lemon meringue tart for my tea break today. This is my 1st attempt & I am praying hard that I will succeed.

Hmm... I'm so glad that my prayers were answered. "Ta da...." I shall proudly present you my Lemon meringue tart!

I really love the taste of this tart. The meringue on top is soft, sweet & fluffy while the lemon custard filling is slightly sour. It's really a perfect combination! Take a look at my tart from different views... *^_^*

Melting moments

I baked these chocolate melting moments quite sometime back. I piped them using a star nozzle into small bite size. They were soft yet crunchy & melted in mouth. I simply love it!
I tried baking melting moments again today but I did not add in cocoa powder this time. I roll the dough into small balls & use a fork to press down on the surface to form the characteristics pattern.
Oh, guess what? The best part of the melting moments is that it does not contains any eggs!

Peanut butter chocolate tart

I wanted to finish my remaining peanut butter & its juz nice for me to bake 3 small tarts. I added cocoa powder to the tart crust & pour ganache over the peanut filling. This tart has a very rich peanut butter taste. I was quite full after eating half the tart. OMG... this is really sinful....I guess I need more exercises to burn off these calories... *^_^*

Pear tart

This pear tart taste slightly different from my previous peach tarts. The reason is because I had ran out of milk at home & I replaced it with pomengranate soya milk. So, this tart had a nice pomengranate taste blended with the soft slices of pear. The tart crust is crispy with a rich butter taste. What a perfect combination... *^_^*

Almond tart

I decided to bake an almond tart since I had half a pack of ground & slice almonds at home.
I usually bake in small quantity so that my hubby & I could finish them within 1-2days. I am using my favourite little tin to bake this tart. The tart was made with ground almond for both the pastry base and the fillings & the top was then sprinkled with almond slices. This is really good stuff. Both my hubby & I finished the tart as soon as it came out of oven after I finished with my photography. *^_^*

I made these little halo kitty milk pound cakes today. Dun u/stand why my kitties got 'chicken pox' on their faces.. Nevertheless, the cakes taste simply delicious! When eaten warm, it is slightly crispy on the outside. It gives off a nice buttery taste & is soft inside the cake. Both my hubby & I love this cake. Thumbs up! *^_^*
